A philosophy of Civil Engineering Department at Inception was solidly based on fair and firm syndrome. Civil Engineering, being the mother of all Engineering was formulated in line with the Nigeria University Commission and Council for the Regulation of Engineering. The core specialization in the department includes Water Resources & Environmental Engineering, Structure and Materials, Geotechnics, Highway and Transportation Engineering.
